Book of Rememberence

Molly 05.06.2000 - 27.03.2010

You were the light of our lives from the day Gemma brought you home at just 7 weeks old.  Always there for us in life's ups and downs.  You gave us nearly 10 years of so much love and asked for so little in return.  Whenever we were feeling down you always made us laugh, such wonderful memories.

Taking one of my slippers and shaking it.  When I finally got it out of her mouth, it would be soaking wet.  You would get a toy out of your toy box and tease us with it.  Walks in Golden Acre Park, chasing squirrels and always puzzled why they could run up trees.  You loved riding in the car with your head out of the back window.  Running up and down the shop doing your spinning display.  More recently playing in the snow catching snowballs.  You touched so many hearts in Headingley, often described as a local celebrity.  Memories that will live with us for the rest of our lives.

                                    YOU WERE THE BEST

We are all feeling so much pain now you have gone.  There is a big hole in our lives that will never be filled.  You knew when the time had come to say goodbye.  You are at peace now.  We will always miss you, until we meet again.  Love you forever, your loving family, Gordon, Gemma, James and Barbara RIP. "Lacey"

Lacey was a dog who had everything, a sense of fun, happiness and joy with a wicked sense of humour which was loved by everyone she met.

Her wonderful temperament, brains and beauty made her very special and a joy to live with.

She was my "special" girl and I miss her dreadfully. There's a bright new star dancing in the sky, that's my "Lacey Love".

I love and miss you. Your heartbroken "Mum"

Smudge and Sparky

Image

Smudge and Sparky brought lots of love and laughter into my life, they were my light. We had many happy times; they would comfort me when I was sad.

My Heart is broken now they have both gone but they will not be forgotten, this is for sure. It gives me comfort to know they are together, as they were in life and no doubt causing trouble wherever they are.

Always remember that I love you very much and always will, and I miss you loads. See you soon my beloved boys.

Tyke

Tyke; passed away 29th September 2009

Tyke came to us at just a few weeks old, rescued from an early grave he seemed to appreciate everything he had.

Living up to his name he was a real live wire and full of mischief. He grew into a beautiful, sweet natured and affectionate

Dog who loved his family and home comforts.

Sixteen years went far too quickly and we cannot believe he is no longer with us. He left a huge hole in our lives and in our hearts.

"When someone you love passes away"
Look to the night sky on a clear day.
The star that to you, appears to be bright,
Will be your loved one,
Looking upon you during the night.
The lights of heaven are what shows through
As your loved one watches all that you do.
When you feel lonely for the one that you love,
Look to the Heavens in the night sky above.

Sleep well Tigger, you will always be in our hearts. May you be at peace now. All our love Naomi, Natassia, Lesley and Gary x"

I had 20 wonderful years with you from the time you came into my life at 5 weeks old on 2nd Jan 1984 until you went to sleep forever on the 5th Dec 2003. I had to let you go, I had no choice.
Nathalie and her team and myself tried to make you well for two and a half years, but ill health and old age finally won. I could tell in your eyes when you looked up at me on that day you were happy to go, you knew what was going to happen and you were ready to go. No more vets, taking tablets, needles and weight checks. Six months after your death I still feel empty and call 'Jimmy' your name. I miss you being on my pillow where you slept for 18 years of your life.
When I first got you, you were so small you sat in the palm of my hand, I watched you grow into the biggest fluffiest and softest cat. Very mischievous and into everything. Auntie Susan was not pleased when you knocked all the spiders off her plant and played with them. You always jumped into my bags whenever I came home, because most of the time there were things in for you. You were always there for me, you never judged me, you listened to me and rubbed your head against my face. I was pleased you came to let me know you were fine after your death.
Goodnight Dylan.
Love Mummy and Jimmy (your brother)?

Jasmine

Jasmine
Enjoyed doing jigsaws. She would sit in the middle of the puzzle, lifting this piece and that piece with her claws, put each in her mouth for a bit of a chew and then drop it over the side of the table, onto the floor. When this game grew boring, she climbed into the tray of pieces, turning round and round several times so that all the pieces were the wrong way up, and then she'd settle down and go to sleep.?
